Partner consoles arrive with US-shaped defaults. Seven-day click, one-day view is a common costume. It flatters brand video and insults a LINE burst that lives and dies in an afternoon. App Analytics — Deep Link Performance Tracking in Thailand has to start with the media mix you actually buy, not the one the SDK brochure photographed.
Click-through versus view-through
Click-through says the person touched the creative. View-through says they were nearby. Both can be honest if labelled. The dishonesty starts when a dashboard paints them the same colour. In Re-engagement Windows Lab we force two series on every graph. Students who merge them fail the critique even if the total “looks healthy.”
One-day clicks for burst channels
LINE stickers, flash QR, and same-day search often deserve a one-day click window. Stretching them to seven days steals credit from the next burst and trains operators to ignore timestamps. We have watched finance partners sign a one-day rule faster than a vague seven-day “industry standard.”
When to refuse a partner default
Refuse when the default window is longer than your creative’s half-life, when view-through would credit a locked-screen impression, or when two partners both want last-touch inside overlapping windows. Write the refusal down. Signal Path’s incident notes format works here too: what we will not claim, and which team owns the exception.
Nalinee’s guest finance critique is deliberately unkind to unlabelled view-through. You may disagree — one reader, Siriwan, still does — but you must label. Related: UTM hygiene, the topic map.
